Silent Throne was a Changeling: The Dreaming game created and run by Erik "Bob" Berman. Martin Presley eventually took the helm, with Angela narrating. Silent Throne (usually abbreviated SiT or ST:FU) was usually held in the Death Star at UC Davis.

History of the Game
Silent Throne began play in February 2005 with Bob as Storyteller, with Ben Rosenstein and then Martin and Miles added as staff. Bob stepped down in Spring of 2006 due to real-life demands taking their toll, and the game ended in late 2006 after an intense eighteen-month run.
Name Controversy
Popularized in large part by one of the first narrators, Ben Rosenstein, the subtitle "Fae Underground" was frequently added to the name Silent Throne. The addition rose in popularity primarily due to the new acronym that it formed: STFU. Though this title was never officially adopted by Silent Throne's original storyteller (and in fact was actively discouraged), the name was eventually adopted officially by its final storyteller, Martin.
Setting and Theme
Silent Throne was set in the fictional Northern California town of Atreus, named for one of its founding families. Just prior to the start of the story, the leader of the fae County of Atreus, one Kael Atreus, abdicated and went into self-imposed exile for reasons he would never explain. He left his young son Lance Atreides to rule in his place, guided and counselled by three Barons: his spymaster, Lady Kataryna de Carabas ap Fiona, his general Byron Raknisson ap Gwydion, and his keeper of the treasury Lord Sydney St. Titus ap Ailil -- all of whom had their own goals and ideals for the future of the county.
The story of Silent Throne was one of high fantasy, only semi-modern; although interaction with the human world and the duality of the fae existence is a core element of the basic Changeling setting, much of this conflict was eschewed in favor of more traditional sword-and-sorcery action. Pageantry, murder, romance, pirates, and dread politics were the order of the day every day in the county of Atreus.
